Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

This is a transfer petition seeking to transfer C.C.No.23/2006 pending before the Court of Enquiry Commissioner and Special Judge, Thrissur to the Court of Enquiry Commissioner and Special Judge, Thiruvananthapuram. According to the petitioner, he is 72 years old and he is hailing from Kollam. According to the petitioner, it is just and convenient to get the case transferred to the Court of Enquiry Commissioner and Special Judge, Thiruvananthapuram.
3. In this context, this Court has called for the remarks of the learned Enquiry Commissioner and Special Tr.P.(Crl) 66 of 2016 -: 2 :- Judge, Thrissur. It has been reported that during the check period from 01.01.1989 to 04.12.1998, the accused had worked at Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, Wayanad, Kannur, Idukki and Malappuram districts. It has been reported that out of the aforesaid districts, Palakkad alone comes within the jurisdiction of the Court of the Enquiry Commissioner and Special Judge, Thrissur. Whatever it is, the court below has jurisdiction to entertain the matter. At this fag end, it is not at all just and convenient to transfer this case to the any other court. The court below shall try the case at the earliest. Matters being so, this Tr.P.(Crl) is only to be dismissed, and I do so.
In the result, this Tr.P.(Crl) is dismissed.
