Heard.
2. Petitioenr’s grievance is that his application for extension of order of status quo passed by the appellate court in I.A.No.1392 of 2013 in I.A.No.1072 of 2013 in A.S.No.23 of 2013 on the file of Senior Civil Judge, Chirala, is not being extended beyond 30.07.2013. Petitioner has filed copies of the docket proceedings of the court below, which show that though he filed the application well within time on account of the various reasons the court was unable to take up the same including that the judicial employees were on strike. In the meanwhile, sufficient time expired after 30.07.2013, the last date when the status quo was in operation. The petitioner now seeks extension of the said status quo order pending appeal.
3. Since the status quo order expired as early as on 30.07.2013, I am not inclined to entertain the said request of the petitioner as it will amount to putting the clock back after so many days. However, since the petitioner’s appeal viz., A.S.No.23 of 2013 only arises out of a decree for permanent injunction and is pending before the Senior Civil Judge, Chirala, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the revision by directing the learned Senior Civil Judge, Chirala, to hear and dispose of the said A.S.No.23 of 2013, in accordance with law, on or before 31.12.2014.
With the above direction, the civil revision petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
