PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose the petitioner's application dated 28.05.2013 pertaining to the issuance of ST Hindu Kurumans Community Certificate to the
petitioner's son A.Selvaperumal.

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to issue Community Certificate to the son of the petitioner, pursuant to her application dated 28 May, 2013.
2. When the writ petition was taken up for consideration today, the learned Special Government Pleader, by producing a copy of the Community Certificate, dated 4 April 2017 submitted that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Egmore Division, has already issued a Community Certificate to the son of the petitioner, pursuant to her application.
3. In view of the subsequent events relating to the issuance of Community Certificate to the son of the petitioner, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition.
4. The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
