This writ petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, challenges the order No.503/2008 dated 21.12.2010 passed by the District Collector, Nizamabad, allowing the fourth respondent herein to continue as Sarpanch of Grampanchayat, Janagamayyapalli village, Nizamabad District.
This Court issued Rule Nisi on 03.03.2011 and there is no interim order granted. Since the period of office of the fourth respondent/Sarpanch came to an end long back, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.
In view of the above, writ petition is closed. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
