JUDGMENT / ORDER

IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH (Special Original Jurisdiction) MONDAY, THE TWENTY FIRST DAY OF TWO THOUSAND AND FOURTEEN PRESENT THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No. 21833 of 2014 BETWEEN A.Surendar Reddy AND ... PETITIONER The Government of Telangana, Rep. by its Principal Secretary (Department of Revenue), A.P. Secretariat Building, Hyderabad and others.
...RESPONDENTS The Court made the following:
ORDER:
Petitioner is aggrieved by the order of the Tahsildar, Ghatkesar Mandal, in proceedings No.B/113/2012, dated 01.02.2012. By the aforesaid order, respondent Nos.3 to 10 were granted order for rectification of revenue records. Petitioner seeks to challenge the said order, primarily, on the ground that the aforesaid land was ceased to be agricultural land and was converted into non agricultural land.
2. Evidently, the said order is clearly an appealable order where petitioner can approach the appellate authority and raise all his contentions, which he seeks to raise in the present writ petition. Hence, as efficacious alternative remedy of appeal is available to the petitioner, I am not inclined to entertain the writ petition.
3. Writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the appellate authority, if he is so aggrieved. Petitioner is also at liberty to file appropriate application seeking condonation of delay, which shall be considered by the appellate authority and then pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
