Pleader - for R1 to R3 No appearance - for R4 to R6 ORDER The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.8.2014 for cancellation of patta issued in the name of respondents 4 to 6 in respect of the lands measuring an extent of 0.08.0 Hectares (20 cents) in Survey No. 136/1C of Kangaleri Village, Krishnagiri Taluk, pursuant to the proceedings dated 11.11.2015, within the time frame.
2. Though private notice was duly served on the respondents 4 to 6 and their names have been printed in the cause list, none appeared on their behalf.
3. Mr. A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders, in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.8.2014 and pass orders, after giving notice to the respondents 4 to 6, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
