THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.4272 of 2014 ORDER :
The petitioner purchased some extent of land in Survey No.86/5 (Old Survey No.141/B) of Jammunarayanapuram Village, Vizianagaram Mandal and District.
Having drafted a deed of sale, the petitioner filed a representation on 04.02.2014 to the District Registrar requesting him to furnish the stamp duty payable on the deed of conveyance. But the District Registrar has not communicated any decision so far. Aggrieved thereby, this Writ Petition is instituted.
Learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, submits that no decision is taken by the respondent authorities on the representation of the petitioner dated 04.02.2014.
As no decision is taken on the representation of the petitioner, this Court cannot go into the merits of the issue at this stage. Since the representation of the petitioner is received by the respondents, 2nd respondent shall take a decision on the request made by the petitioner and communicate the same to him within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedies, if the request of the petitioner to furnish the market value is not granted to him.
Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
