This Writ Petition is filed with the grievance that respondent No.3 has not been receiving the petitioner’s application for release of electricity connection to his newly constructed residential house in Plot No.12, Survey No.121/4 situated at B.P.Agraharam, 15th Ward, Panagal, Srikalahasti Town, Chittoor District.
The learned Counsel representing Mr.P.Vinod Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (SPDCL), submitted that every consumer has to make an application in the call center concerned and that if the petitioner makes such an application, the same will be received, processed further and appropriate action will be taken thereon.
In the light of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make an application to the call center concerned. On such application being made, the same shall be processed and further action shall be taken by the respondents.
As a sequel, WPMP.No.42025 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
