JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has come before this Court contending that the order passed by this Court in writ petition No.29118 of 2016 dated 31.08.2016 has been violated. After issuance of the contempt notice, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that the order of this Court passed in WP.No.29118 of 2016 dated 31.08.2016 has been complied with. 2. However, the petitioner would contend that he has given a representation to the temple authority seeking to permit him to perform poojas during the ensuing “Navarathri Festival”, from 21.09.2017 to 30.09.2017, namely, “Kumkuma Laksharchanai” and “Lalitha Sahasranama Homam” on “Ayudha Pooja” day and “Mahishasura Vadham” on “Vijayadhasami” day. The said representation was said to have been given by the petitioner and the same was directed to be considered by the Assistant Commissioner. The Assistant Commissioner after considering the said representation of the petitioner, rejected the same on 18.09.2017. If the claim of the petitioner has not been considered positively and it has been rejected by way of an order dated
N.KIRUBAKARAN,J
sai 18.09.2017, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the same in accordance with law.
3. However, it is made clear that whenever the petitioner goes into the temple for worshiping god or to take part in any festival, the petitioner should not be disturbed by anybody for worshiping in the temple.
4. With the above observation, this contempt petition is closed.
