JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is concerned with the denial of participation in the 4th semester examination. Admittedly, earlier three semesters have to be completed before participation can be effected. This Court had been granting interim orders to persons, who had applied for the 2nd semester supplementary examination and participated in the same but whose results were not published, to appear provisionally in the 4th semester examination. This was only by reason of the delay in scheduling the supplementary examinations. In the present case, it is to be noticed that the petitioner has not even appeared in the 3rd semester examination by reason of having taken maternity leave. Whatever be the reason, the petitioner having not appeared in the 3rd semester examination, she WP(C).27562/14 2 would have to first appear in the supplementary examination and qualify in the same and there can be no provisional order granted for participation in the 4th semester examination even before the 3rd semester supplementary examination is scheduled. Writ petition stands dismissed.
