JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has challenged the order dated 03.03.2003 rejecting his claim for correcting his son's date of birth as 05.06.1987 instead of 03.05.1985, which has wrongly reflected in the X Standard Certificate. 2. When the matter is called before this Court, Mr.P. Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate would submit that the X standard certificate of the petitioner's son, namely, P. Rajkumar, after incorporating the correction in his date of birth, had already been issued to the petitioner and the same was also collected by him.
3. The above submission made by the learned Government Advocate is evident from the communication dated 04.08.2004 of the Director of Government Examinations, Chennai - 6 addressed to the Joint Secretary, Education Department, Fort St. George, Chennai-9.
4. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
