JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to grant a direction, directing the 3rd Respondent Police to file a Final Report in the above case in Crime No.580 of 2011 on the file of the 3rd Respondent Police.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court, by Order dated 14.09.2012, directed the third respondent herein to complete the investigation and file the final report as expeditiously as possible. Since there was no time limit fixed by this Court in the Order dated 14.09.2012, the respondent police has not filed final report yet and therefore, the petitioner has filed the present petition seeking for the above relief.
3. This sort of practice of the Officer cannot be countenanced.
Hence there shall be a direction to the third respondent to complete the investigation and file final report in Cr.No.580 of 2011 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
