Public Prosecutor ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file final report for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 447, 427, 436 and 506(ii) I.P.C. in connection with Crime No.262 of 2015.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that on the basis of the complaint given by him as against one Settu and four others, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.262 of 2015 for the offence under Sections 147, 294(b), 447, 427, 436 and 506(ii) I.P.C. Though the said case was registered in the year 2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.262 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
