JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.03.2017 for issuance of patta in his favour within the time frame.
2. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the the petitioner's representation dated 22.03.2017, on payment of requisite fee and pass orders in accordance with law.
3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.03.2017, after paying necessary fees and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
