This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judge, I Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the maintenance case in M.C.No.145 of 2008 within the time frame.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Despite notice, none appeared for the respondent.
3. Admittedly, the maintenance case is of the year 2008 and since then, it has been kept pending without any progress. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judge, I Additional Family Court, Chennai is directed to dispose of M.C.No.145 of 2008 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
