JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 24.07.2017 and grant permission to conduct cultural and adventure programme which is scheduled to be held on 20.08.2017 in Sri Dhrobadhiyamman Temple situated at Anna Nagar, Anganadhavalasai Post, http://www.judis.nic.in Tirupattur Taluk, Vellore District.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 24.07.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 20.08.2017, the respondent has not passed orders till today.
3. A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.
4. Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 16.08.2017.
5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
