Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in my name separately for the properties comprised in S.Nos.23/7B, 28/1D, 28/1A2-28/1H, 28/1C1, 28/K2, 28/1K, 128/1K, 28/1A1, 28/1A2, 28/1A3, 28/1AA, 28/1G, 28/1, 28/1G2, 28/1/2, 28/1J1, 28/1J2, 28/1K3, 28/1K4, 28/5C, 28/1E, another 19/A7, 28/1D, 28/1A, 28/1H, 28/1C, 28/1K, 28/5A, 25/5C totally an extent of 5 Acres and above situated in Melpapampatti Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District, within the limits of Sub-Registrar Office, Sathyamangalam and Registration District of Villupuram after surveying and sub-division of the lands by carrying mutation in the earlier patta standing in the name of petitioner's vendor (Revenue Records) of the lands, considering my representation dated 28.10.2016.
For Petitioner : Mr.J.Ashok For Respondents : Mr.R.Rajeswaran Special Government Pleader O R D E R Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue patta in his name separately for the properties comprised in S.Nos.23/7B, 28/1D, 28/1A2- 28/1H, 28/1C1, 28/K2, 28/1K, 128/1K, 28/1A1, 28/1A2, 28/1A3, 28/1AA, 28/1G, 28/1, 28/1G2, 28/1/2, 28/1J1, 28/1J2, 28/1K3, 28/1K4, 28/5C, 28/1E, another 19/A7, 28/1D, 28/1A, 28/1H, 28/1C, 28/1K, 28/5A, 25/5C, measuring an extent of 5 Acres, situated at Melpapampatti Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District, after surveying and sub-dividing the lands by carrying mutation in the earlier patta standing in the name of his vendor, considering his representation dated 28.10.2016.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2016 and paying the necessary charges for surveying and sub-dividing the lands mentioned above, the 2nd respondent has not completed the exercise so far.
4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2016, and pass orders on in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2016 for surveying and sub-dividing the lands and for issuance of patta and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties. within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
