Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to refund the unused stamp papers amount of Rs.1,51,200/- (One lakh fifty one thousand and two hundred) to the petitioner in compliance of order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in K.Dis.3299/2015/B3, dated 21.04.2015 within a stipulated period fixed by this court.
For Petitioner : Mr.A.Ilangovan For Respondents : Mr.E.Balamurugan Additional Government Pleader O R D E R Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to refund the value of the unused stamp papers amounting to Rs.1,51,200/- (One lakh fifty one thousand and two hundred only) to him in compliance of the order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings dated 21.04.2015, within a time frame.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the 2nd respondent in his proceedings dated 21.04.2015 , directed the 3rd respondent to disburse the sum of Rs.1,51,200/- towards the value of the unused stamp papers surrendered by the petitioner, the 3rd respondent has not disbursed the said amount even after a lapse of 2½ years.
4. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to disburse the said amount, within a time frame.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the order passed by the 2nd respondent as early as on 21.04.2015, I direct the 3rd respondent to disburse the sum of Rs.1,51,200/- (One lakh fifty one thousand and two hundred only) being the refund amount towards the value of unused stamp papers surrendered by the petitioner, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
