The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, to direct the the first respondent in relation to G.O.Ms.No.185, School Education Department, dated 16.12.2002 and the proceedings of the 5th respondent issued in AG(A&E)/Pension-22/1/A81-1127/AR/2003-04/18, dated 02.12.2003 issued by the 5th respondent and quash the same and issue a consequential direction to the respondents to restore G.O.Ms.No.1381 Education dated 05.10.1990 for fixation of pay in the post of Primary School Headmaster and to fix the petitioner's pay in Selection Grade scale of pay of Headmaster at Rs.1640-2900 with effect from 01.06.1988 as per the recommendation of the V Pay Commission and Special Grade Scale of Pay with effect from 01.06.1998 as per the recommendations of the VI Pay Commission in the post of Primary School Headmaster at Rs.8000-13500 and to grant arrears of pay to the petitioner.
2. I heard Mr.R.Saseetharan learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy Special Government Pleader for R1 to R4 and Mr.D.Nalliappan for R5 learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 informed before this Court that G.O.Ms.No.160, dated 23.08.2005 has been passed by modifying the earlier Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.185 School Education Department, dated 16.12.2002 and as per the new G.O.Ms.No.160, dated 23.08.2005, the conditions were modified which reads as follows:
