JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to transfer the patta relating to her property, measuring to an extent of 7 cents, bearing Old Patta No.352, comprised in Old Survey No.184/3 and another property, measuring 0.44 cent, comprised in S.No.184/3, bearing New Patta No.345, as per patta New Survey No.184/3A, which she got by way of a registered settlement deed, dated 03.06.2015, executed by her husband, by name Sultan.
2. The petitioner was settled the aforesaid properties, by virtue of a settlement deed, dated 03.06.2015, which property was purchased by her husband-Sultan, vide a Sale Deed, dated 08.04.1996, from one D. Bhakthhavatchalu and others. After settlement of the said property, the petitioner submitted an Application for transfer of patta to the respondent. Though the application was filed on 23.09.2016, nothing has been heard from the respondent, which compelled the petitioner to approach this Court, by way of this Writ Petition, seeking for the aforesaid prayer.
3. Heard Mr. C. V. Kumar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. T.M. Pappiah, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent.
4. Though issuance of patta was delayed by the ex-Officials, the present Official, by name Kanimozhi, after taking charge, took steps to transfer the patta and produced the transferred patta copy, dated 31.08.2017 before this Court, as proof. It has been stated that, there is a generated SMS already given to the petitioner. The petitioner alone did not response to the queries raised by the respondent by producing records. In any event, this Court is not going into the details, as the new Officer, who assumed charge and the Village Administrative Officer, who are present before this Court took steps to transfer the patta in respect of the petitioner's property, and the transferred patta copy is produced before this Court, which is also handed over to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Hence, no further order is required to be passed in this Writ Petition.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
