By our order dated 25th January 2010, we had directed, ...The opponent Mr.Sanjay Indravadan Parikh is directed to pay Rs.25,000/- to the applicant-Zalakben within 10 days from today. In the event the opponent fails to pay the aforesaid sum of Rs.25,000/- this Court will be constrained to take appropriate action for contempt of the Court against the opponent-Mr.Sanjay Indravadan Parikh.
Learned advocate Mr.Gandhi has appeared for the applicant. He has submitted that the opponent has failed to comply with the above direction. He has submitted that the opponent has not paid the sum of Rs.25,000=00 as directed. Instead, he has deposited a sum of Rs.10,000=00 in the Court below. That too, after the expiry of the period of ten days specified in the order.
Registry will issue notice to the opponent Sanjay Indravadan Parikh calling upon him to show-cause why proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act should not be initiated against him.
Stand over to 26th March 2010. Registry will issue the notice forthwith.
