JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J.) The petitioner has sought for a writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body of petitioner's son G.Bharath, S/o. Gopalarathinam, aged about 20 years, who is in illegal custody of the third respondent before this Court and set him at liberty.
2. Ms.Greetha Senthilkumar, has circulated a letter, dated 24/2/2017, to the Registry, seeking permission to post the writ petition under the caption “for withdrawal”. Thus, it is listed today.
3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the instant Habeas Corpus Petition and he has made an endorsement to the following effect.
“I may be permitted to withdraw the petition.”
4. Placing on record the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Letter dated 24/2/2017, shall be treated as part of the record.
