Mr.M.R. Mengdey, learned Additional Public Prosecutor and Mr.Hardik Soni, learned advocate, waive the service of notice of rule on behalf of the opponent Nos.1 and 2 respectively.
With the consent of the parties, the application is taken up for final hearing.
Present application is filed by the applicants ? original petitioners/accused for extension of interim relief granted by this Court in Special Criminal Application No.136 of 2007 till 21st July, 2008.
Considering the averments in the application and having heard the learned advocates appearing on behalf of the respective parties, it appears that if the interim relief granted in Special Criminal Application No.136 of 2007 is extended till 14th July, 2008, the same will meet the ends of justice.
Under the circumstances, the interim relief granted by this Court in Special Criminal Application No.136 of 2007 is directed to be continued till 14th July, 2008. No further extension will be granted. The application is allowed to the aforesaid extent. Rule is made absolute accordingly.
Direct Service today is permitted.
