This writ petition has been filed with the prayer to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the FIR dated 28.4.2018 registered as Case Crime No. 532 of 2018, under Section 498-A, 323, 307, 494, 376 IPC & 3/4 D.P. Act, P.S. Badaut, District Baghpat.
The dispute being in essence matrimonial, was referred to the Allahabad High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre by another Bench of this Court vide order dated 12.7.2018 in order to resolve their differences amicably. In the said order, petitioners were directed to deposit a sum of Rs. 30,000/- within two weeks from that date with the mediation Centre.
We have perused the office report of Deputy Registrar, In- Charge, AHCMCC, in compliance of the earlier order of this Court dated 12.7.2018, which shows that the amount has not been deposited.
No one is present today on behalf of the petitioners to press this petition.
The writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
