JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a writ of Mandamus for directing the second respondent to take appropriate action to rectify the error and issue fresh joint patta in favour of the petitioner and his wife namely Jeeva in respect of the lands in S.Nos.105/1C1B, 105/1C2C, 105/5, 106/1A1, 98/3B and 98/4B of Usilampatti Village, Madurai District by consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2017
2. Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The case of the Petitioner is that he along with his wife Mrs.Jeeva purchased land to an extend of 1 hectare and 51 acres in survey Nos. 105/1C1B, 105/1C2C, 105/5, 106/1A1, 98/3B and 98/4B of Usilampatti Village in Madurai District in the year 1998. Thereafter, all revenue records were mutated in their name and joint patta was issued in Joint Patta No.3109.
4. The petitioner alleged that on 06.02.2017, when he applied for computer patta through online service for their lands, the survey Nos.106/1A1, 98/3B and 98/4B have been omitted. Hence he submitted a representation on 14.02.2017 to take appropriate action to rectify the error and issue fresh joint patta. Since no action was taken, the present Writ Petition is filed.

Considering the facts of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the petitioner to give fresh representation enclosing this order within a period of two weeks, on such receipt the respondents shall consider the representation of the Petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the necessary parties as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
