Heard Sri Bharat Singh, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Prashant Kumar, learned A.G.A. for the State.
This Application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been lodged by the applicant with a prayer to direct the court of A.C.J.M., Court No.2, District Muzaffarnagar to decide the Case No. 27/ 11 of 2018, Smt. Vishesh Kumari Vs. Shailendra Singh and others under Sections 12, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23 and 24 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, P.S. Civil Line within period of three months or within the period as stipulated by this Court.
Learned counsel for the applicant contends that the present proceedings has been initiated on 23.02.2016 and since then, the case has not been decided till now.
It is directed that court below shall make all endeavour to decide this case expeditiously preferably within a time limit which is prescribed under Section 12 sub-clause 5 of the Domestic Violence Act itself without permitting undue adjournments to either side.
With this direction, this application is disposed of without issuing any notice to O.P. Nos. 2 to 4 as it is an innocuous order. If the O.P. Nos.2 to 4 feel aggrieved, they may approach this Court.
