The grievance urged in the instant petition is that the date of birth of the petitioner is wrongly recorded in the mark sheet of High School Examination 2015. The petitioner has filed an application on 7.6.2016 seeking correction. However, the said application has not been decided so far, therefore, the instant writ petition has been filed.
Learned standing counsel very fairly states that Secretary, Board of High School and Intermediate Examination, U.P. Allahabad, the second respondent shall take decision in the matter within such time as may be directed by this Court.
Accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh application before the second respondent and in which event, the second respondent shall take decision on the said application in accordance with law, expeditiously, within a period of next ten weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order alongwith fresh application.
