Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
By the instant petition, petitioner seeks the following relief:
"issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 4 / District Magistrate Ghaziabad to initiate an inquiry regarding filing of false affidavit alongwith nomination paper and to seize the financial and administrative powers of respondent no. 6 as Pradhan of Village Panchayat Basantpur Saintly, District Ghaziabad."
Shri Imran Syed, holding brief of Shri Tarun Agrawal, learned counsel for the respondent submits that election petition has already been filed before the Tribunal.
In view thereof, writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to pursue the election petition to its logical conclusion.
