The writ court vide order dated 27.01.2020 disposed of the Writ Petition (Writ-A) No. 43869 of 2012. Operative part of the order reads as under:
"Suffice it to note that the aforesaid consideration was being undertaken pursuant to the directions issued by this Court even though the petitioner claimed his rights on the basis of having participated in a selection which was undertaken almost 7 years earlier in 2004. At the time when the present petition was filed, the petitioner was stated to be 38 years of age. It is not disputed that today if a direction for his appointment were to be issued it would clearly fall foul of the maximum age restrictions as placed by statute. In that view of the matter no effective relief can possibly be given.
The petition is consequently disposed of."
On specific query, learned counsel for the applicant is unable to point out from the order any positive direction/order in favour of the applicant- petitioner. In view thereof, petition, being misconceived, is dismissed.
