Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Mohan Srivastava, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
Grievance is that despite an insurance policy the amount payable has not been released.
It is pointed out by counsel for the respondents that such disputes can be resolved by approaching Insurance Ombudsman, in terms of the adjudicatory scheme prepared by the Corporation.
Since appropriate forum for resolution of dispute has not yet been approached by the petitioner, as such no direction in the writ petition is called for.
It is, however, provided that in the event petitioner approaches the Ombudsman concerned, alongwith a certified copy of this order, within four weeks from today, the same shall be entertained and shall be adjudicated upon, in accordance with law, expeditiously.
Subject to the above observations, this petition is consigned to records.
