The present writ petition has been filed alleging that the husband of the petitioner had died while in service on 26.7.2015, however, the gratuity payable on account of death of the husband of the petitioner was not paid for which the petitioner made a representation.
Counsel for the petitioner placed reliance on the judgment of this Court in the case of Renu Gupta Vs. State of UP and others in Writ-A No.14397 of 2019.
Considering the fact that the claim of the petitioner has not yet been decided, the writ petition is disposed off with a liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation along with a copy of the judgment passed in the case of Renu Gupta (supra). In case, any such application is filed, the Respondent No. 3 shall take a decision thereupon as expeditiously as possible in any event within four months.
The writ petition stands disposed off in terms of the same.
