List has been revised. None appears on behalf of the petitioner to press this writ petition even though learned Standing counsel for the respondents is present.
This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following reliefs:-
"(a) "A. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent nos. 2, 3 and 4 to make the payment of 80% of the amount according to the notice dated 24.4.2008 under Section 17(3-A) of land acquisition act with interest @ 9% per annum from the date of possession i.e., 24.04.2008 to 23.04.2009 and thereafter @ Rs. 15% till the date of payment according to the Section 34 of the act within a prescribed time by this Hon'ble Court."
This petition was filed in the year 2010 seeking the aforesaid relief. There is no interim relief granted to the petitioners by this Court and it appears that by efflux of time, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous.
In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
