Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; learned A.G.A. for the respondents no. 1 and 2; and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the first information report dated 25.3.2019 registered as Case Crime No. 0158 of 2019 at P.S. Kotwali Padrauna, District Kushinagar, U/s 354, 504, 506 I.P.C. and Section 3 (1) (Da) SC/ST Act.
From a perusal of the first information report it cannot be said that it does not disclose commission of cognizable offence therefore the prayer of the petitioners to quash the first information report cannot be accepted.
The petition is dismissed without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to seek for bail or anticipatory bail, as may be advised.
