This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking quashing of the order dated 8.2.2019 passed by the 10th Addl. Sessions Judge Agra in S.T. No. 740 of 2019, State versus Vijay Singh and others, arising out of Case Crime No. 288 of 2008, under Sections 323, 324, 504 and 308/34 IPC, P.S.Iradat Nagar, District Agra.
Heard learned counsel for the applicants, learned AGA and perused the record.
Learned counsel for the applicants has not been able to point out any illegality, impropriety or incorrectness much less than any abuse of the court's process which may persuade this Court to interfere in the impugned order. The entire evidence has already been recorded. The statements under Section 313 Cr.P.C. were also recorded. The matter was fixed for arguments. It is an old matter and it is not difficult to see that the application was moved before the court below simply to procrastinate the trial. There was absolutely no merit in the application and the prayer that was sought was wholly uncalled for.
The application lacks merit and stands dismissed.
