JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 27.03.2017 to cancel the sub-division dated 05.04.1999 and carry out re-survey of the land with reference to the FMB and the recitals in sale deeds of the owners of the land.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2017, given to the respondents, they have not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation given by the petitioner dated 27.03.2017 may be treated as an appeal and the 1st respondent may directed to dispose of the appeal, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation given by the petitioner on 27.03.2017 as an appeal and dispose of the same in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 07.09.2017 Index: Yes/No Rj To
