1. This petition has been filed praying for a direction to the police authorities to give protection to the petitioners as they have married without their parents' approval.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner nos.1 and 2 states that petitioner no.1 belongs to District Hapur and her date of birth as per High School Certificate is 15.02.1994. The date of birth of petitioner no.2 is 05.09.1990. They have performed their marriage on 29.08.2017 against their parents' wishes.
3. As per the instructions received in the office of learned Standing Counsel, a report of missing has been lodged on 10.12.2019 by Sri Brij Mohan Upadhyaya, with regard to the petitioner no.1.
4. The information given to the office of the Chief Standing Counsel is taken on record.
5. Since the petitioners have performed inter caste marriage, they are under threat and they are directed to appear before the S.H.O., Goverdhan, Mathura, who shall extend all necessary help and protection to the petitioners in terms of the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
6. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
