Public Prosecutor ORDER The petitioners, alleging that they have been falsely implicated by the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 448, 294(b), 506(i) and 427 I.P.C. and Section 3(1)(r) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015, seek a direction to the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Coimbatore (Special Court for SC/ST Cases, Coimbatore Division), to consider and dispose of their bail application that will be filed by them under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. on the same day of their surrender before him in connection with Crime No.529 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioners are prepared to surrender before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Coimbatore (Special Court for SC/ST Cases, Coimbatore Division), there shall be a direction to the learned learned Principal Sessions Judge, Coimbatore (Special Court for SC/ST Cases, Coimbatore Division), to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioners along with their surrender before that Court, on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
