Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.06.2016 regarding restoration of patta, bearing No.352, in respect of the agricultural land, comprised in Survey No.352/1B, measuring an extent of 0.04 cents, situate at No.26, Avoor Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District in the name of the petitioner.

Pleader - for R1 ORDER The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 21.06.2016 regarding restoration of patta, bearing No.352, in respect of the agricultural land, comprised in Survey No.352/1B, measuring an extent of 0.04 cents, situated at No.26, Avoor Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 1st respondent had cancelled the patta issued in favour of the petitioner without giving any notice to him. In these circumstances, the petitioner has given a representation dated 21.06.2016, which has not yet been considered by the 1st respondent sofar.
3. Mr.S.V.Dolraisolaimalai learned Additional Government Pleader, taking notice for the 1st respondent, submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation, after giving notice to the respondents 2 and 3, and pass orders, in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2016 and pass orders, after giving notice to the respondents 2 and 3, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
