Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Arun Kumar Srivastava for the Land Management Committee as also learned standing counsel for the State-respondents.
On a pointed query by the Court as to the provision of law whereunder, such an enquiry, as has been prayed for, can be issued, the only reply by counsel for the petitioner that he is the owner of the land and therefore, he is seeking an enquiry regarding his own land.
Since, no provision of law could be pointed out whereunder provision of law, such an enquiry is to be necessarily ordered by the writ Court, the relief prayed for in the writ petition is entire misconceived.
Moreover, the petitioner has filed a half baked writ petition without being conversant with the provisions of law, and is therefore, wasting the time of the Court.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is dismissed with cost of Rs.5,000/-.
The cost may be deposited within a period of 30 days, failing which, the same shall be recovered as arrears of land revenue.
