The order passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, directing appointment to the first respondent on compassionate ground in under challenge in this Writ Petition.
2. The learned counsel for the first respondent by placing reliance on the order dated 20 August 2015 submitted that in view of the order of appointment made by the Postal Department, nothing survives for adjudication.
3. The learned Standing Counsel for the petitioners also affirmed the said factual position.
4. In view of the subsequent events indicated above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
