JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 3
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 17003 of 2019 Petitioner :- Umesh Kumar Verma And 12 Others Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Navin Kumar Sharma Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Ashok Kumar Yadav
Hon'ble Saral Srivastava,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos.1 and 2 and Sri A.K. Yadav, learned counsel for respondent nos.3 and 4.
Petitioners are working as Assistant Teacher in Junior Basic School in different schools at Prayagraj. Under the scheme of the Government, certain Junior Basic Schools have been converted into model school. The selection for appointment of Assistant Teacher in the said model schools was undertaken by respondent no.4.
Petitioners have appeared in the said selection and have qualified the selection. Consequent upon selection of the petitioners, counselling has taken place in which petitioners have been allotted schools by the orders of respondent no.4, copy of which is annexed as Annexure 8 to the writ petition.
The grievance of the petitioners is that though, they have been selected and have been allotted schools, but respondent no.4 is not issuing appointment letters to the petitioners so as to enable them to join the schools of their posting. Petitioners in this regard have submitted representation to respondent no.4 but respondent no.4 has not paid any heed to the representation of the petitioners.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and appropriate direction be issued to respondent no.4 to consider the grievance of the petitioners.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to each of the petitioners to file separate representation before the respondent no.4-District Basic Education Officer, Prayagraj raising all their grievances within a period of two weeks from today. In case any such representation is filed by the petitioners, the respondent no.4 shall consider and decide the same by reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months thereafter.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
