Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt. Archana Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the respondents.
By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 22.01.2019 passed by District Magistrate/Collector, Sonbhadra by which a sum of Rs. 1,67,74,717.50/- has been ordered to be recovered by him on the charge of the petitioner having carried out illegal mining. The order impugned is appealable under U. P. Minor Minerals (Concession) Rules, 1963.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of alternative remedy.
