By means of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for the benefit of loan waiver scheme of 2017 popularly known Rin Rahat Yojana, 2017.
The petitioner submits that in this regard he has already got his complaint registered on a Government portal, however, nothing has been done till date.
In the facts and circumstances of the case therefore, the matter is required to be examined at the first instance at the stage of District Magistrate, Mainpuri.
Learned counsel for the Bank and the learned Standing counsel have no objection in case if direction is issued to the District Magistrate concerned to look into the grievance of the petitioner.
In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the petitioner shall make a representation to the District Magistrate, Mainpuri under the Rin Rahat Yojana, 2017 and the District Magistrate, Mainpuri, on receipt of such representation, shall verify the same as to whether benefit of scheme can be granted. He shall decide the matter by means of a reasoned and speaking order, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of such representation before it.
