Heard Sri R.C. Singh, learned Senior Advocate, assisted by Sri Narayan Dutt Shukla, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Ashish Pandey, learned counsel for the Union of India.
After arguing at length, learned counsel for the applicant wants to withdraw the present application with liberty to revive the same after the evidence of main witnesses. He, however, submits that as the applicant is in jail since March, 2019, direction may be issued to the trial court for early disposal of the trial.
State counsel has no objection to this proposition.
The application is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
