Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"i) to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the revision No.339/M of 2016 (C201615000069) under Section 219 of L.R. Act within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
The grievance of the petitioner is that a revision under Section 219 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act filed in the year 2016 has not been decided till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Commissioner Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh to endeavour to decide the revision of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
