JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to register the pending Document No.77/2017 dated 30.06.2017 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2017.
2. Heard Mrs.P.Jessi Jeeva Priya, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Muthu Karuppan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.
3. Mrs.P.Jessi Jeeva Priya, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the property in question was purchased by one Sri Ramachandra Swamigal through various documents and he agreed to sell his property to the petitioner. When the sale deed was presented, the respondent has refused to register the document. Hence, the representation was on 01.08.2017. Since no favourable order was passed, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner produced all the relevant documents and the respondent has to consider and pass orders.
5. Mr.A.Muthu Karuppan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent would submit that the respondent having entertained doubt over the status of the property, a notice issued to the petitioner as well as his vendor. Since there is no response from the vendors, the representation of the petitioner is still pending.
6. In the light of the above submissions, the petitioner is directed to approach the respondent and produce all the relevant documents. On such compliance, the respondent shall pass orders on the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks therefrom.
7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
