Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition, reads thus:
"[i] Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of CERTIORARI quashing the impugned First Information Report dated 07.09.2017 lodged by the respondent No.3 against the petitioners in Case Crime No.0522 of 2017 under Section 498A, 326, 323 I.P.C. and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Shahbad, District Rampur. " Mr. Syed Ali Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that a Charge Sheet, bearing no.1/2018 dated 08.03.2018 has already been filed, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. It is, however, open to the petitioners to take appropriate remedy, if they so desire and are advised, for appropriate relief.
