Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
The allegation in this petition was that an order of status quo, passed on 22 May 2015 has been violated. On the last occasion, learned counsel for the applicant was called upon to explain whether the said interim order had been extended thereafter. In terms of the supplementary affidavit, filed today, it is submitted that the order was last extended on 3 August 2016. However, learned counsel does not dispute that the matter was listed thereafter, but the interim order was not extended. Consequently, this Court cannot take any cognizance on the allegation of contempt.
The petition is dismissed. It shall be open to the applicant to seek appropriate direction in the pending petition.
