JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard Mr.M.K.Kabir, learned Senior Counsel appearing for Mr.S.S.Swaminathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
2.Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court earlier on 10.02.2017, the learned Special Government Pleader reports that due to non-communication of the orders passed by this Court, the orders were passed for issuing patta, but, however pattas were not handed over to the beneficiaries and the respondents are willing to cancel the same subject to the orders passed by the first respondent pursuant to the direction in the writ petition.
3.In the light of the same, the respondents are directed to cancel the proceedings by which the patta was proposed to be issued to certain beneficiaries and the first respondent shall comply with the direction issued in the writ petition.
4.With the above direction, the Contempt Petition is disposed of. No costs.
