Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned State Law Officer.
The petitioner is before this Court for a direction to the respondents to decide the claim of the petitioner for child care leave in accordance with law.
In response to the order dated 14.11.2019, learned State Law Officer has placed the instructions intimating therein that the child care leave has been accorded to the petitioner from 16.11.2019 to 30.11.2019.
Confronted with this, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has two children aged about 7 years and 2 years respectively and while moving the said application the petitioner had asked for according child care lave upto March 2020 but the same has not been considered in accordance with law.
The Court has proceeded to examine the record in question and find that so far as the relief as has been asked, the same has already been accorded by the competent authority for the aforesaid period. However, in case the petitioner comes under zone of consideration for extending such leave, then she can move appropriate application in this regard before the competent authority within one week and in case any such application is moved within the stipulated period, the same shall be considered and decided sympathetically.
The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
